Overview
The JS Vintage Dlx Vrb Ultimate v2.0 Tone Model Collection is based on an authentic 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb—one of the most celebrated amplifiers in American history.
 
Known for its sparkling cleans, rich midrange character, and touch-sensitive breakup, this amp has defined countless recordings across genres for nearly six decades.
 
Captured through the amp’s original Oxford 12K5-6 speaker, this collection represents one of the most detailed and faithful Deluxe Reverb sessions ever created for ToneX.
 
The original collection was meticulously captured across nine unique volume settings (3ii, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) on both the Normal and Vibrato channels, showcasing the full range of the amp’s legendary Blackface character.
 
While recently recording with this amplifier, I found myself revisiting the Deluxe Reverb and discovering a number of exceptional tones that simply felt too good not to share.
 
Rather than release them as a separate product, I decided to add them to this collection at no additional cost as a thank-you to both existing and future customers.
 
The result is an even more comprehensive Deluxe Reverb style collection, covering everything from pristine cleans and dimensional reverb textures to harmonically rich edge-of-breakup and vintage overdrive tones.
