🔹 JS – Fried Plex LV Ultimate and DI v2
Amp+Cab & DI Tone Models based on the Friedman Vintage Plex (Low Voltage Mode)
The JS Fried Plex LV Ultimate and DI v2.0 Tone Model Collection is based on the Friedman Vintage Plex, captured in its Low Voltage (LV) mode.
In this setting, the amp offers a slightly softer attack and smoother breakup, delivering warm, touch-sensitive tones that respond beautifully to pick dynamics and guitar volume. This collection includes 24 Tone Models captured using the ToneX 1.10 engine, providing both Amp+Cab and DI (amp-only) versions.
The Amp+Cab captures were made through a 2×12 cabinet loaded with Celestion G12H-75 Creamback speakers, mic’d with a Royer R10 ribbon mic for rich, full-bodied Plexi tones.
The DI captures are pure amp-only models, with a preset-level baked-in IR of the same 2×12 G12H-75 Creamback cab and Royer R10 mic combination for an authentic and consistent tone.
