The JS American Chmp Ultimate and DI v2.0 Tone Model Collection is based on the legendary Fender ’57 Custom Champ — one of the most recorded amps in history. This hand-wired tweed classic is famous for its raw simplicity, touch sensitivity, and unmistakable vintage tone that ranges from glassy cleans to gritty overdrive when cranked.
 
This brand new v2.0 collection includes 24 Tone Models captured using the ToneX 1.10 engine for next-level realism and dynamic response. The Amp+Cab captures were made through the combo’s stock 1×8 Weber Special Design speaker, while the DI captures include a preset-level baked-in custom IR of a 2×12 G12H-75 Creamback-loaded cab mic’ed with a Royer R-10 ribbon mic.
 
Both inputs of the Champ were explored across six different Volume settings, giving you the amp’s full tonal range from its cleanest sparkle to saturated tweed grind.
