The JS Vintage ’60 Twd BMan Ultimate Presets + Captures collection captures the unmistakable tone and dynamic response of a real 1960 Fender Tweed Bassman, one of the most historically important guitar amplifiers ever built.
 
This amplifier helped define the sound of electric guitar and ultimately influenced countless amplifier designs that followed. Its touch sensitivity, harmonic richness, and progressive gain structure remain legendary among players.
 
For this collection the amplifier was documented across carefully selected volume positions on both the Bright and Normal channels, preserving how the amplifier naturally evolves from clean headroom into classic tweed breakup.
 
The Amp + Cab captures were recorded through the amp’s 4×10 cabinet loaded with Eminence Alnico Blue speakers, delivering the classic tweed compression and articulation that makes this circuit so inspiring to play.
 
Because this is a historically significant vintage amplifier, the capture process focused on preserving the subtle tonal transitions that occur as the volume control moves through its range rather than simplifying the amplifier into only a few broad gain stages.
 
v2 Neural Captures
All captures in this collection are Quad Cortex v2 Neural Captures, offering improved realism, response, and dynamic behavior compared to earlier capture formats.
Due to the increased DSP usage of v2 Neural Captures, each preset in this collection is designed to run three captures simultaneously, allowing seamless switching between gain stages while maintaining optimal processor performance.
