Quad Cortex – Fried Plex GB Ultimate
 
One of my most popular amps gets the Quad Cortex treatment with the new Fried Plex GB Ultimate Collection!
 
This collection revisits the incredible amp based on the Friedman Vintage Plex, this time captured through a 1x12 Celestion Heritage Greenback 20 — a killer pairing that brings out the amp’s rich midrange, dynamic response and classic British character.
 
Both Channel i and Channel ii were captured using the amp’s Low Voltage and High Voltage settings, with six different volume settings for each combination — 2L, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.
 
The result is 24 Amp + Cab Neural Captures, ranging from cleaner and lower-gain Plexi tones through progressively more driven sounds and all the way to the amp pushed hard into rich, harmonically complex overdrive.
 
BUT THERE'S MORE THAN JUST THE CAPTURES!
 
I’ve also included TWO complete Multi-Scene Quad Cortex presets — one built around the Low Voltage captures and one around the High Voltage captures.
