This capture collection features both Amp/Cab and DI captures, based on a beautifully crafted Dr. Z X-Ray amplifier.
 
Each capture is meticulously created using my favorite settings on the amp, ensuring authentic, high-quality tones. The amp was recorded through its 1x12 Warehouse Retro 30 speaker, mic’ed with a Royer R10 ribbon mic, preserving its full character and dynamic response.
 
What’s Included?
 
🎛 5 Amp/Cab Captures – (Amp > Mic > Mic Pre) at various channel, gain, and tonal settings, recorded through the 1x12 Warehouse Retro 30 speaker cab.
🎛 5 DI Captures – (Amp-Only) raw amp captures, allowing you to pair them with your own IR or speaker sim for full flexibility.
 
Capture Naming Convention:

"x" represents the gain level of the capture (1 being the lowest).
"DI" in the name indicates a direct (amp-only) capture that requires an IR or speaker simulation for proper tone shaping.
 
Input Level Calibration:
These captures are designed to sound most accurate when using an input level of 0 dBu = -11 dBFS.
