🛒 N.A.M – Vintage ’63 PrinceTone Ultimate and DI Captures
 
The Vintage ’63 PrinceTone Ultimate and DI collection for Neural Amp Modeler (N.A.M.) is based on Jason’s all-original 1963 Princeton Tuxedo (6G2) — a rare early-’60s American amplifier prized for its touch sensitivity, harmonic richness, and beautifully smooth transition from clean to breakup.
 
As part of the Vintage Series philosophy, this collection takes a deep and intentional approach to documenting the amp’s behavior across its most musically meaningful volume range — from 4 through 10 — using both inputs. Rather than offering a few representative tones, this set preserves how the amp truly evolves as it’s pushed, capturing the subtle shifts in feel, compression, and harmonic character that define this circuit.
 
What makes this release special is that it presents two complete capture perspectives of the same rare amplifier.
 
The Original captures lean a touch more open and immediate.
The “_D” captures lean slightly smoother and more relaxed, offering a complementary feel.
 
These are not processed variations — each set was captured intentionally from the amp itself to reflect a different tonal approach. The differences are subtle, but musically meaningful, giving you more flexibility depending on guitar, touch, and musical context.
