The N.A.M – Vintage 2203 Ultimate and DI collection is based on an authentic 1981 Marshall JCM 800 Model 2203— one of the most influential amplifiers in rock history.

Known for its unmistakable midrange bite, open harmonic character, and explosive dynamics, the 2203 represents the raw essence of classic British tone.
 
This collection brings that vintage magic into the modern age with Neural Amp Modeler, captured with precision to preserve every ounce of the amp’s personality and power.
 
🎙️ Amp+Cab Captures
 
Captured through two distinctive cabinet setups to showcase the amp’s full tonal spectrum:
4×12 Rola Celestion G12-65 — Punchy mids, tight low-end, and clear articulation.
1×12 Celestion Heritage G12M-20 Greenback — Vintage warmth with softer attack and rich harmonic depth.
 
Each setup was mic’d with a high-quality ribbon microphone to deliver smooth highs, natural body, and authentic tube response.
 
💻 DI Captures
 
Includes 7 amp-only captures offering the pure tone of the 2203 with no cabinet baked in, providing maximum flexibility for IR pairing.

A custom IR based on a 2×12 G12H-75 Creamback (Double Cream) cab mic’d with a ribbon mic is included to complement the DI captures perfectly.
