This capture collection is a collection of amp only (DI) captures based off am incredible Suhr SL67 “Plexi” amplifier.
This bundle is a set of captures based off various settings on the amp meticulously captured with no speaker cab. The collection also includes a custom IR of a 2x12 G12H-75 Creamback loaded speaker cab mic’ed with a Royer R10 ribbon mic.
This collections tones profile an array of different gain settings. The collection includes 11 DI (amp only) captures with the amp at various gain levels and settings.
The naming convention for the tone models are, for example, as follows:
js_sir_plex_67_di_ult_x_xx.nam
The ‘x’ signifies the overall level of gain in the capture. If the name contains a ‘i’ it signifies that the first input of the amp was used. If the name contains a ‘ii’ it signifies that the second input of the amp was used. If the name contains “Jmp” it signifies the two inputs were jumped together.
These captures are created to sound most accurate with an input level of 0dbu = -11 dbfs.
