🔹 N.A.M – Fried Plex LV Ultimate and DI
Amp+Cab & DI Captures based on the Friedman Vintage Plex (Low Voltage Mode)
 
The N.A.M – Fried Plex LV Ultimate and DI collection is based on the Friedman Vintage Plex amplifier captured in its Low Voltage (LV) mode.

In this configuration, the amp delivers a slightly softer attack and smoother breakup with less headroom — providing beautifully touch-sensitive tones perfect for classic rock, blues, and expressive clean-to-crunch playing.
 
This collection includes both Amp+Cab and DI (amp-only) captures, giving you maximum flexibility when pairing with your favorite impulse responses.
 
🎙️ Amp+Cab Captures
Captured through a 2×12 cabinet loaded with Celestion G12H-75 Creamback speakers, mic’d with a Royer R10 ribbon mic.

These captures deliver a warm, balanced tone with defined mids, smooth highs, and rich low-end character — the perfect foundation for vintage-style Plexi tones.
 
💻 DI Captures
The DI captures contain the pure amplifier tone with no cabinet baked in, allowing complete freedom to choose your preferred IRs.
A custom IR file based on the same 2×12 G12H-75 Creamback cab mic’d with a Royer R10 ribbon mic is included in this collection.

All captures are calibrated to 0 dBu = –11 dBFS for accurate gain structure and dynamic authenticity within N.A.M.
