Amp+Cab & DI Captures based on the Friedman Vintage Plex (High Voltage Mode)
 
The N.A.M – Fried Plex HV Ultimate and DI collection is based on the Friedman Vintage Plex, captured in its High Voltage (HV) mode.

In this configuration, the amp produces increased headroom, punch, and harmonic richness — delivering the most authentic representation of vintage Plexi power and clarity.
 
This collection includes both Amp+Cab and DI (amp-only) captures, covering every key volume and channel setting for a complete tonal range — from shimmering cleans to rich, saturated overdrive.
 
🎙️ Amp+Cab Captures
Captured through a 2×12 cabinet loaded with Celestion G12H-75 Creamback speakers, mic’d with a Royer R10 ribbon mic.

The result is a bold, harmonically complex tone with a firm low-end foundation, articulate mids, and smooth, open highs — ideal for both rhythm and lead tones.
 
💻 DI Captures
The DI captures contain the pure amp tone with no cabinet baked in, perfect for pairing with your favorite IRs.

A custom IR file of the 2×12 G12H-75 Creamback cab mic’d with a Royer R10 ribbon mic is included in this collection.
