This capture collection is a collection of amp/cab captures based off a Matchless Chieftain amplifier.
This bundle is a set of captures based off various settings on the amp meticulously captured through a 2x12 Revv Amplification Celestion G12H-75 Creamback loaded speaker cabinet mic’ed with a Royer R10 ribbon mic.
This collections tones profile an array of different gain settings and tonal settings. The collection includes 6 amp/cab captures with the amp at various gain levels and settings.
The naming convention for the tone models are, for example, as follows:
js_cheef-tan_dbl_crm_xxxx_x.nam
The “xxxx” signifies the overall level of gain from Clean to Push to Lead. The single “x” signifies the level of gain within the previously mentioned overall level of gain. The “Lead” captures also include an integrated pedal based off the Ibanez TS 808 Tube Screamer for an overall different tonality in comparison to the “Push” captures.
These captures are created to sound most accurate with an input level of 0dbu = -11 dbfs.
