This capture collection is a collection of amp/cab captures based off a Marshall 2555x Silver Jubilee amplifier.
This bundle is a set of captures based off various settings on the amp meticulously captured through a 2x12 Revv Amplification Celestion G12H-75 Creamback loaded speaker cabinet mic’ed with a Royer R10 ribbon mic.
This collections tones profile an array of different gain settings and tonal settings. The collection includes 6 amp/cab captures with the amp at various gain levels and settings.
The naming convention for the tone models are, for example, as follows:
js_brit_silver_xxxx_x.nam
The “xxxx” signifies the overall level of gain from Clean to Push to OD. The single “x” signifies the level of gain and different tonal quality within the previously mentioned overall level of gain. The goal with the OD captures was to explore subtle setting differences this incredible amp is capable of.
These captures are created to sound most accurate with an input level of 0dbu = -11 dbfs.
