The JS Vintage High Watt 504EH Ultimate and DI Collection brings tones based on my 1981 Hiwatt DR-504 with the Canadian modification to the Helix Stadium platform as a complete collection of Proxy Clones and performance-ready presets.
 
The DR-504 is known for its enormous punch, clarity, headroom and dynamic response, and the Canadian modification gives this particular amplifier the ability to push into more aggressive gain territory while retaining that unmistakable Hiwatt authority.
 
For the amp + cab captures, the amplifier was paired with a Celestion Heritage Greenback 20-watt speaker, giving the tones the classic response and character of this special Greenback while complementing the massive sound of the DR-504 beautifully.
 
16 Helix Stadium Proxy Clones
Both the Bright and Normal channels were captured at four gain levels:
8 Amp + Cab Proxy Clones — captured through the Celestion Heritage Greenback 20-watt speaker
8 DI / Amp-Only Proxy Clones
4 gain levels for the Bright channel
4 gain levels for the Normal channel
 
This provides everything from huge, articulate lower-gain tones through increasingly driven sounds while maintaining the clarity and punch that makes this amplifier so special.
 
Two Performance-Ready Presets
The collection also includes two complete Helix Stadium presets designed to take advantage of the different Proxy Clone formats.
 
One preset is built around selected Amp + Cab GB Proxy Clones, giving you the complete captured amplifier and Heritage Greenback signal chain.
 
The second preset uses selected DI / Amp-Only Proxy Clones paired with a stock Helix Stadium cab, giving you another way to experience the amplifier while taking advantage of Stadium's cabinet processing.
 
Both presets provide a complete performance-ready rig with effects while still allowing you to freely swap in any of the included Proxy Clones.
