Helix Stadium – Fried Plex GB Ultimate
 
One of my most popular amps gets the Helix Stadium treatment with the new Fried Plex GB Ultimate Collection!
 
This collection revisits the incredible an amp based on a Friedman Vintage Plex, this time captured through a 1x12 Celestion Heritage Greenback 20 — an absolutely killer pairing that brings out the amp’s rich midrange, dynamic response and classic British character.
 
Both Channel i and Channel ii were captured using the amp’s Low Voltage and High Voltage settings, with six different volume settings for each combination — 2L, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.
 
The result is 24 Amp + Cab Proxy Clones, covering everything from cleaner and lower-gain Plexi tones through progressively more driven sounds and full-on cranked amp overdrive.
 
But the collection doesn’t stop there.
 
I’ve also included two complete Helix Stadium performance presets — one built around the Low Voltage captures and one around the High Voltage captures. Each includes four snapshots and a full complement of effects, giving you complete, ready-to-play rigs right out of the box.

The Heritage Greenback 20 gives the Fried Plex an entirely different voice from my previous collections, with everything from dynamic lower-gain sounds to rich, aggressive cranked Plexi tones.
