This tone model bundle delivers the authentic sound of a Dr. Z X-Ray amplifier, meticulously captured to provide a dynamic and versatile range of tones.
 
Each tone model is crafted using my favorite settings on the amp, ensuring studio-quality accuracy and realism. The amp was captured through its 1x12 Warehouse Retro 30 speaker, using a Royer R10 ribbon microphone to preserve its full-bodied, boutique character.
 
What’s Included?
 
🎛 5 Amp/Cab Tone Models – (Amp > Mic > Mic Pre) at various channel, gain, and tonal settings, recorded through the 1x12 Warehouse Retro 30 speaker cab.
🎛 5 DI (Amp-Only) Tone Models – Raw amp captures designed to be paired with an IR or speaker model for total tonal flexibility.
 
Tone Model Naming Convention:
 
JS – Z-Ray Ult x
 
"x" represents the gain level of the tone model (1 being the lowest).
"DI" in the name indicates a direct (amp-only) tone model that requires an IR or speaker simulation for proper tone shaping.
