This profile bundle is a collection of tones based off a Friedman BE-OD Pedal into a clean channel tube amplifier. This pedal is designed to get in the ballpark of the incredible Friedman BE-100 amplifier. The controls on the real pedal are as follows:
 
Tone Controls: Bass, Treble, Presence
Volume: Adjust overall output volume
Gain: Adjusts overall distortion level
Tight: Shapes the low frequency content, turning it up tightens the sound
 
This bundle models an array of different settings. The bundle includes 9 tone models all at various settings. The naming convention for the tone models and presets are, for example, as follows:
1 Tight 10
The “number” refers to level of gain in that model with “1” being lowest amount of gain and “3” being the highest.
The “Tight” setting refers to the position of the forementioned “tight” control. Set to “0”, it is the lowest setting, set to “5” is a medium setting and set to “10” is the highest setting.
 
These tone models were captured with the Friedman BE-OD played through a Revv Generator 100R MKIII amplifier on it’s cleanest setting through a Revv 2x12 cabinet with Vintage 30 speakers. The microphone used was a Cascade Fathead ribbon mic into a Warm Audio WA-273 Neve style mic-pre/eq.
Feel free to use these captures and presets as starting points to dial in your own tones or use them as dialed in by default.
