This tone model bundle is a collection of amp-only (DI) tones based on a Suhr SL67 “Plexi” amplifier. This bundle features captures created using my favorite settings on the amp, meticulously recorded without a speaker cabinet to give you true amp-only tone models.
 
This bundle includes 10 DI tone models, each captured at a different gain level or channel configuration. These captures are perfect for players who want to pair them with their own IRs or real cabinets. A custom IR of a 2x12 cab loaded with Celestion Vintage 30s is also included and baked into the presets provided. If you'd prefer to use your own IR or cab block, simply load the raw tone model without the preset.
 
The naming convention for the tone models is as follows:
JS – Plex-I-Lot DI xxxx x (H or L)
The “xxxx” indicates the overall gain category of the tone model: Clean, Push, or OD.
The single “x” represents the specific gain level within that category.
“H” indicates the Hi channel of the amp was used.
“L” indicates the Low channel was used, offering a spongier, smoother attack due to lower input voltage.
 
Gain Levels:
Clean – Amp set to as clean as it can be
Push 1 – Pushed to breakup
Push 2 – Higher gain than Push 1
OD 1 – Higher gain than Push 2
OD 2 – Higher gain than OD 1
