This tone model bundle is a collection of tones based off a Fuchs ODS Classic amplifier. This bundle is a set of captures based off my favorite settings on the amp meticulously captured through a pair of 12” Celestion Vintage 30 speakers.

This bundles tone models model an array of different gain and channel settings. The bundle includes 11 amp/cab tone models (amp > mic > mic pre) all at various gain levels and settings through the previously mentioned speakers. The naming convention for the tone presets are, for example, as follows:

JS – D-Classic Ult xxxx x (B)

The xxxx signifies the overall level of gain in the tone model from Clean to Push to OD. The single “x” signifies the level of gain within the previous mentioned overall level of gain. For the Push tone models there may also be a “B” in the name which signifies a slightly brighter version describing the overall eq structure of the tone model.

1. Clean – Amp set to as clean as it can be on Ch. 1. This tone can still start to “break up” with higher output pickups.
2. Push 1 – This is a pushed to breakup amp tone on Ch. 1.
3. Push 1 (B) – Slightly brighter version of Push 1.
4. Push 2 – This is a higher gain tone model in comparison to Push 1 on Ch. 1.
5. Push 2 (B) – Slightly brighter version of Push 2.
6. Push 3 - This is a higher gain tone model in comparison to Push 2 on Ch. 1.
7. Push 3 (B) – Slightly brighter version of Push 3.
8. OD 1 – First level of gain on Ch. 2 set to a slightly darker tone.
9. OD 2 – Second level of gain on Ch. 2.
10. OD 3 – Third level of gain on Ch. 2.
11. OD 4 – Fourth level of gain on Ch. 2 set to a slightly brighter tone.

The tone models were recorded with a Beyer Dynamic M160 ribbon mic into a Golden Age Project Pre-573 Neve style mic preamp.

Feel free to use these captures and presets as starting points to dial in your own tones or use them as dialed in by default.
